About the INOSAAR Glocal Academy Posubans
The International Network of Scholars and Activists for Afrikan Reparations (INOSAAR) is an independent and voluntary reparations consultancy and advocacy group. We act as a self-organizing cross-community bridging agency. Our work is dedicated to advancing the struggle for reparations and other forms of transitional justice for the enslavement and genocide of peoples of Afrikan descent, including the invasion of the Afrikan continent by colonial powers that resulted in the oppression and deformation of Afrikan identities. The INOSAAR formed the autonomous students and auxiliary body, INOSAAR RepAfrika, after the inaugural INOSAAR Conference in 2017. The Glocal Academy Posubans have emerged out of the ongoing work to consolidate Afrikan-heritage youth and students networking around the world.
The Glocal Academy Posuban (GAP) network consists of a growing globally linked local educational outposts around the world, working in various communities to promote truly decolonised and democratised knowledge co-production.
We are action-learning towards a global academy commons where knowledge forms are equitably shared with due respect for pluriversality, cognitive justice, and decolonisation.
We support link-networking with all communities and peoples committed to the cause of Pan-Afrikan Reparations for Planet Repairs.
